Modula runs locally and never receives your code. This site collects anonymous analytics to understand traffic. We do not collect personal information.
The app
Modula is a desktop application that runs entirely on your machine. It does not send us telemetry or analytics, and we do not operate a service that receives your projects, prompts, code, or agent activity. Section 7 of the Terms of Use covers this in full.
Coding agents you run through Modula access your repositories directly and are governed by their providers' own privacy policies. Modula provides the interface; we are not in the path.
This site
modula.sh uses Google Analytics to measure traffic — pages viewed, browser and device type, referring link, and approximate location from your IP address. There are no accounts, forms, or newsletters on the site, and nowhere to submit personal information.
What we don't collect
- Your code, repositories, or prompts
- Personal identifying information
- API keys or credentials
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another. Block or delete them in your browser settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on — the site works normally either way. A single theme preference is stored on your device and never transmitted.
Third parties
Analytics data is processed by Google under its own policies. App downloads are hosted on GitHub, and we link to GitHub, Discord, and X; those services' policies apply once you follow a link.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the date above.
